When you add up the costs of maintenance, fuel and ever-evolving environmental impacts, haul trucks can be an expensive method of moving material.
Superior Industries overland conveyors offer their users some economic relief. Over time, the savings are calculated in everything from labour costs to energy.
Superior Industries overland conveyors are designed to handle a diverse group of industries. Capacities ranging from a trickle of material all the way up to several thousand tonnes per hour, our application engineers will grade your site and desired material quantity to develop a perfect fit.
Each custom engineered overland conveyor comes with assembled head and tail sections, plus all the guarding, drives and other components. Intermediate sections are available in various lengths.
Examples of Superior Industries overland conveyor systems can be found in various applications around the world.
A recent custom designed heavy duty conveying application installed in the US handles over 3000tph of crushed rock on a downhill conveying system. Click here to see video.
The latest innovation from Superior Industries is the Zipline® Range of Overland Conveyors.
Designed to handle large volumes (up to 1500tph) over medium distances, the Zipline® is quickly assembled using a pre-engineered, modular overland system designed for quick, tool-less installation.
Compared to a spec-by-spec highly engineered system, this unit is a lower cost overland alternative. The Zipline® Overland Conveyor is designed with off-the-shelf components for easy sourcing of replacement idlers, pulleys, and accessories.
The modular design allows for easy structural additions in the future.
Typically costing sometimes less than half the price of a custom designed conveying solution, the Zipline® system can be used in many “medium duty” applications.
Sand and gravel pits, aggregates, quarrying and in-pit crushing / conveying applications as well as medium sized mining applications are just some of the uses of the Zipline® conveying system.
Relocation of the Zipline® can also be achieved in a relatively short space of time when compared to traditional installations. Click here to see installation video.
The Zipline can therefore be an alternative to “Grasshopper” or “Jump” conveyors for certain applications, or used as an extended transfer conveyor to increase stockpiling applications.
